Disco Belts

The Disco Belts has been long in the making. For a while we tried to work a special cut called the Holy. It wouldn’t really make seed, and when it did, they were mostly nonviable mutants. Eventually we tried crossing it to Hazel’s Comet (Hazelnut x GSC/Stardawg), which produced 10 seeds.

We planted these, and only 3 grew to maturity. Two females: Holy Comet 4 and Holy Comet 7; and one male: Holy Comet 3. HC4 was semi-sterile, HC7 was sterile like the mother and the HC3 was able to produce pollen that made seed normally with other females.

On average HC4 makes about 30-40 seeds on a medium sized indoor plant. We crossed it with our Hazel Belts (Hazelnut x Rainbow Belts 3.0) and were able to build up enough seed to run a decent sized round. The plants were out of this world, making selection difficult. We narrowed it down to the top performers based on potency and pungent aromas. From here we ran them head to head to find the winner, which is the Disco Belts you now have.
